Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Pulastya Pramachala discharged the 11 accused persons namely Ajmat Ali, Shadab Alam, Naved, Mohd Shahid, Mohd Sakir, Nadeem, Mohd Sohail alias Soel, Sultan Ahmed, Wazid, Suleman and Mohd Faeem.
Shifa Ur Rehman, Abdul Khalid Saifi, Gulfisha Fatima and Mohd Saleem Khan are accused in the larger conspiracy of Delhi riots case registered under the stringent anti-terror law, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
The accused persons, as per the court document obtained by OpIndia, pleaded innocence and affirmed that they were falsely implicated in the given case by the Investigating Officer who allegedly failed to conduct fair investigation.
Shahrukh Pathan, who pointed a gun at a policeman during the anti-Hindu riots in North-East Delhi in 2020, was refused regular bail by a Delhi court on 14th December.
The court also stated that even those persons who were accused of a specific role, such as damaging CCTV cameras, were given bail by the Delhi High Court.
