Article 370

Government of India has asked Al-Jazeera and BBC to produce evidence of their claim of large scale protests and violence in Jammu and Kashmir.

MDMK Chief V Gopalaswamy or Vaiko had opposed the scrapping of Article 370 on the floor of Rajya Sabha. Vaiko, while speaking in Rajya Sabha on the same day, had called it a "day of sorrow".
