Delhi High Court while dismissing the plea seeking extraordinary interim bail in all criminal cases said the court in writ jurisdiction cannot grant extraordinary interim bail in a pending criminal case initiated against a person holding high office.
In his letter to the Home Ministry, Chandrasekhar allegedly included screenshots of conversations between him and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders including former Delhi minister Satyendra Jain and Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal.
"The cause of concern is he was allowed prescribed home-cooked food because he claimed he has high diabetes. But he is having mangoes, sweets, and sugar with tea. This is a basis to create a ground for bail," Hossain submitted.

Arvind Kejriwal approached the Supreme Court challenging a Delhi HC judgement that dismissed his plea against arrest by the ED and his subsequent remand in the excise policy case.
“The Competent Authority hereby terminates the engagement of Bibhav Kumar, in terms of the provisions of Rule 5 of the Central Civil Services (Temporary Service) Rules, 1965, with immediate effect," the order by YVVJ Rajshekhar, Special Secretary Vigilance read.
