Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman BR Naidu on Monday criticized AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi's statement regarding Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, saying that the Waqf board is a real estate company and questioned how he can compare it with Tirumala.

During a JPC meeting on the Waqf Bill 2024, Asaduddin Owaisi and TMC MP Banerjee allegedly had Gulshan Foundation's Irfan Ali removed for supporting the bill.

While talking about ‘dangers’ of the Waqf Amendment bill in Hyderabad, Asaduddin Owaisi claimed Muslims will almost 90% of the mosques in the country as they don’t have documents proving ownership.

Earlier, Asaduddin Owaisi had said that the situation in Palestine concerned not only Muslims but also humanity.

Asaduddin Owaisi has a long history of raising slogans in favour of the demolished structure. In February 2024 during the Budget Session in the Parliament, he opposed the vote of thanks for Bhavya Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and ended his address by raising the slogan "Babri Masjid Zindabad".

Asaduddin Owaisi courted controversy after he proclaimed "Rehan beef shop zindabad", a veritably polarising remarks during election campaign.

Taking to X, AIMIM Chief Owaisi claimed that AIADMK, has committed that it will never ally with the BJP in the future and has also assured that it will oppose the CAA, NRC, and NPR.
