As the national capital struggles with rising pollution levels, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing it of playing "dirty politics" which she claims is the real cause behind both air and water pollution in the city.
The Aam Aadmi Party led Delhi government has said that a major reason behind the deteriorating air quality in Delhi, especially in the Anand Vihar area, is the buses coming from the neighbouring state of Uttar Pradesh.
Incidentally, the charge that her parents helped and tried to save the dreaded terrorist Afzal Guru, who carried out a terror attack on the Indian Parliament, from Justice, had been validated by Atishi Marlena herself.
Basically, the only thing Atishi's Pani Satyagraha has achieved is that it has successfully shifted the media focus from the public suffering for something as basic as water to an entitled, powerful woman, a minister no less, highlighting her own 'suffering'.
Sharing a news clip posted by Bar and Bench on the court summon sent to Atishi Marlena in the defamation case, the out-on-bail AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal predicted that Atishi Marlena will be arrested next
The PWD officials, reportedly, sought logistics and police assistance for demolishing these temples first on 21st February and then on 28th March, however, it was said that the demolition had been scheduled specifically for 15th of April.
Atishi Marlena issued veiled threats stating that the country and God ‘will not forgive the BJP’ if something happens to Arvind Kejriwal, alluding to so-called security and health threats to his life.
