The letter written by two professors to the President of India has been signed by 50 professors.

The BHU has been grappling with protests ever since Dr. Firzo Khan was appointed to teach Hindu Theology at the Univeristy.

Dr Firoz Khan has now applied to the Ayurveda Department of BHU

Dwivedi alleged that a nexus has worked in tandem to appoint Firoze Khan in the faculty. He also alleged that the main interviewers were all known to Khan and other short-listed candidates were deliberately asked questions that they could not answer.

The PMO has asked for a report from the BHU administration
