Delhi's Tis Hazari court on Saturday extended Judicial custody of Bibhav Kumar for the next 14 days. He was produced through video conferencing (vc) after the expiry of judicial custody.
Swati Maliwal said that an attempt was made to portray her as a "villain" and Delhi Chief Minister's aide Bibhav Kumar as a "hero" after she made assault allegations against him.
The Delhi Police requested a five-day custody of Kumar, but his lawyer opposed this, arguing that there was no evidence to support the need for custodial interrogation.
Swati Maliwal said, "He slapped me 7-8 times with full force. When I tried to push him, he grabbed my foot and pulled me to the floor. Amidst all this, my head hit the centre table. I was on the floor when he started hitting me with his legs. I was screaming and seeking help but no one came out."
"According to them, I was 'Lady Singham' until I filed a complaint against Bibhav Kumar and today I have become a BJP agent? "I will take you to court for every lie you spread!" Maliwal said in a post on Monday.
Responding to police claim that no CCTV footage was found related to assault on Swati Maliwal, Saurabh Bharadwaj said there is no camera in Kejriwal's drawing room
