CJP maintained that Singh delivered hate speech in his constituency Goshamahal in Telangana on 13th November. It said that Singh's speech was aimed at "instigating disaffection, spreading misinformation, peddling conspiracies and promoting violence against religious minorities."
"I would like to express my deep concerns regarding the conduct of elections in my constituency and the need for a fair and transparent electoral process. I am deeply concerned by the reports of excessive monetary influence being used to sway voters during the elections.
T Raja Singh was arrested on Tuesday amidst chants of ‘Sar Tan Se Juda’ as Islamists demanded action against him for allegedly insulting Prophet Muhammad.
As per reports, Islamists also chanted 'Sar Tan Se Juda' (Islamist call for beheading) at the police station while demanding action against Raja Singh.
