The police had earlier arrested Imam of the mosque including others for hiding explosives inside the Kushinagar mosque

The others arrested are Izhar, Aashiq and Javed -- all residents of the Bairagi Patti village, said Vinod Kumar Mishra, SP (Kushinagar).

The unexploded shell was high-explosive anti-tank ammunition. It was allegedly left there by a scrap shop owner who had relocated.
