The Police is said to have filed a police case under the Odissha Freedom of Religion Act, 1967 and have also seized a Bible, passports, cash and some medicines from the accused.
This comes after Priyank Kanungo, chairman of the National Child Rights Protection Commission (NCPCR) raided a children's home named Asha Kiran Institute. During the raid, it was found that the Hindu children were forced to offer Christian religious prayers, read Bible and visit Church.
