On the 16th of October, The Wire published a report on YouTube, titled “Who is behind the communal riots in Bahraich?” In this video, ‘journalist’ Sharat Pradhan accused the BJP and RSS of instigating riots in Bahraich insinuating that since bypolls are to be held in 10 seats in the state.

On 28th September, the Odisha government imposed a 48-hour internet shutdown in Bhadrak District following communal clashes over social media posts.

A total of 8 two-wheelers and a police vehicle were destroyed. The police reached the station immediately after being informed.

Some Hindu youths were taking out a procession for the immersion of the Bhagwan Ganesh idol in Badarikoppalu village. When the procession was about to cross a dargah on Mysuru Road, people from the Muslim community came and started a heated argument with the Hindu devotees. Following the altercation, members of the Muslim community allegedly pelted stones at the Ganesh idol and displayed lethal weapons.

Violence and communal tensions broke out in the Soorsagar police station area in Jodhpur, Rajasthan on Friday night (21st June) over construction of gates at Eidgah

The clash took place on Friday night over a dispute regarding the opening of gates and a police force was deployed in Soorsagar area in Jodhpur to control the violence.
