The body of the minor victim was found dumped in a sack in a marshy area behind a local market in the nearby Aluva area on 29th July. It was found a day after the minor was abducted, brutally raped, and killed by Alam, the victim's neighbour.

"She had been around this monster since she was about 6 years old. Carter has always been big to her...I had to admit that she had been fearful," the victim's father said.

Taking to Twitter, Hailakandi police informed about the arrest of accused Jabir Ahmed Barbhuiya and Ansar Uddin Mazumdar.
