On 24th February, India reportedly completely curtailed the flow of water from the Ravi River into Pakistan following the completion of the Shahpur Kandi barrage

Reports have mentioned that AP officials were not allowing vehicles to pass without checking Aadhar cards and state addresses. A similar attempt at 'occupying' the dam was also made 3 years ago, but it was thwarted, Telangana officials have informed.

The State government has set up 18 relief camps in Singtam, Rangpo, Dikchu and Adarsh Gaon which have faced most of the damages. However, due to a lack of connectivity with Chungthang, the relief camps there are being set up by the Indian Army and other paramilitaries.

BJP state chief Annamalai has informed all the state office bearers to focus on local issues and has directed that the state BJP should start functioning as a state party ahead of the upcoming civic polls.
