Delhi police had announced a cash reward of Rs 50,000 on the arrest of Iqbal Singh who is accused in Republic Day violence case.

Deep Sidhu was tracked down and arrested in an operation led by Delhi Police’and has been sent to 7 day custody.

With nothing left to defend the Khalistan supporter, several of them have maintained a stoic silence on social media. However, a large number of the anti-farm law activists have shed their cloaks and come forward seeking his release.

On February 3, Delhi Police announced a cash reward of Rs 1 Lakh each for information leading to the arrest of Deep Sidhu, Jugraj Singh, Gurjot Singh and Gurjant Singh

"I am disappointed in you, Ravish Kumar. I thought you are a sensible journalist," said Deep Sidhu in latest video on Facebook video.

Earlier this week, Twitter has blocked over 500 accounts for instigating violence on Republic Day in India. Many of these accounts were from Pakistan and many were using the platform to create confusion over the Tractor Rally.

Deep Sidhu, a pro-Khalistani actor, was so far being hailed as a hero by the Congress ecosystem. After his presence during the Red Fort attack was exposed, he is being painted as a 'BJP agent'.

Deep Sidhu justified the hoisting of Sikh flag atop the Red Fort calling it representative of the country's "diversity" .
