Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that the talks with farmers were held in a very good environment and it concluded on a positive note.
As Punjab farmers go vandalising and destroying Reliance Jio towers to protest against the new farm laws, NDTV's Sreenivasan Jain got schooled by Gurcharan Das, former CEO of Procter & Gamble, India.
The ‘protestors’ have been targeting Reliance Jio towers because Congress politicians have been spreading rumours and misinformation that "Ambani and Adani are about to exploit farmers". Earlier, the protestors at Delhi border were seen urging people not to use Jio sim.
In spite of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh's appeal, the 'protesting farmers' have destroyed 150 more telecom towers overnight. This takes the total number of telecom towers damaged to 1,388.
