Their elderly parents hoped to meet Dara Singh once before he died. However, their wish could never be fulfilled. After the death of his father, mother, and his sister, Dara Singh applied for parole, however, his application was always rejected.

Dara Singh was convicted of murdering 3 people - Christian Missionary Graham Staines and his two sons.
