A day after thusands of pagers used by Hezbollah operatves exploded in Lebanon, walki-talkies and other devices used by the group exploded in the country on Wednesday

According to one of the theories floating around about exploding pagers attack on Hezbollah, Mossad intercepted a shipping of pagers, installed tiny explosives and a switch in them, before they reach the terror outfit.

In response to Israel's next-level warfare, Hezbollah changed its tactics. Cell phones, which may trace a user's location, have been prohibited on the battlefield instead more old-fashioned methods such as pagers and couriers are being used.

In a statement earlier on Tuesday, Hezbollah said that "pagers belonging to employees of various Hezbollah units and institutions exploded," killing two of its fighters and a girl. The group further said that it was investigating to determine the causes of the explosions.

On the condition of anonymity, a Hezbollah terrorist holding an official post in the terror organisation, said that the detonation of the pagers was the "biggest security breach" the group had been subjected to in nearly a year of war with Israel.

In the days leading up to the Israel attack, Hezbollah had said that it is preparing to launch a major attack against Israel in retaliation for the assassination of its top military commander in Beirut by Israel.

The US and the UK have advised their citizens to leave Lebanon by any means available, citing fears of a potential full-scale war between Israel and Hezbollah.

Hamas confirmed that Ismail Haniyeh was killed in an Israel air strike on his house in Tehran.

The Israeli Defense Forces pointed out that the attack was indeed carried out by Hezbollah from Chebaa village in Lebanon as determined by its assessment and intelligence.
