After a meeting with a delegation of the Stakeholders Association in the state capital on 19th October, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu assured that the new tax implemented on non-state commercial vehicles would be lowered.

Pro-Khalistan graffiti was found written on the walls outside a government office in Dharamshala, Kangra district, police officials said.

In the clip, several houses are seen collapsing like a deck of cards in the Anni town of Kullu district. According to officials, there were no immediate reports of any casualties or injuries in the incident so far.

Earlier, on Wednesday, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu conducted an aerial survey of the flood-hit regions of Indora and Fatehpur in the Kangra district.

A hill collapsed in the Krishna Nagar area in Shimla, following which, around five to seven houses collapsed.

In light of the unfortunate situation, the state has decided not to hold any cultural festivities for Independence Day.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said he National Disaster Response Force teams are engaged in rescue and relief operations.
