The incident is said to have happened in September this year. However, it came to the fore only after Shiva Kachhi who fights for the rights of minorities in Pakistan posted about the incident and revealed that the girl was abducted and brutally raped by Shafaq Bhargari son of Ghulam Haider Bhargari.

The Police filed an FIR based on the complaint of one of the women who confirmed that he had posed as a Brahmin and had said that he was a media person. The police also recovered two identity cards from him, one in the name of Nishant Raj and other one as Nishant Raza.
