The United States President Donald Trump will be joining Prime Minister Modi in Houston during the 'Howdy, Modi! Shared Dreams, Bright Futures' mega event which will be held on 22nd September.
The Howdy event will be Prime Minister Modi's third major address to the Indian-American community after he became PM in 2014 and the first after his re-election in May.
PM Modi has stated firmly before Donald trump that all issues between India and Pakistan are bilateral in nature, indirectly dismissing his 'proposals' to mediate.
Last month, US President Trump had stirred up a storm when he claimed that PM Modi had requested him to mediate on the Kashmir issue. However, India had clarified that no such request was made.
Narendra Modi’s consistent efforts in the last five years, India is now considered to be a global power and a major security partner by the United States.
