The Kargil war took place between May and July of 1999 in Jammu and Kashmir's Kargil district. The conflict was orchestrated by the then Pakistan army chief General Pervez Musharraf without the knowledge of the then Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Eventually, after 21 days of an extensive search operation, PNS Saad was located on the western side of Pakistan to protect it from any attack if hostilities between the nuclear-armed neighbours escalated.
In the year 1699 on the day of Baisakhi, the tenth Guru of Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh had formed the Khalsa Panth of warriors to protect the people from religious persecution by Muslim rulers.
