Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, on Saturday virtually dedicated to the nation 75 infrastructure projects of Border Roads Organisation (BRO) at a cost of Rs 2,236 crore.
With the inauguration and laying the foundation stone of various other projects, the Modi government is continuing to write the growth story of a new India.
Notably, up to the 43rd edition of PRAGATI meetings headed by PM Narendra Modi, a total of 348 projects, with a combined cost of Rs. 17.36 lakh crore, have undergone review.
The Union Minority Affairs Ministry, led by Union Minister Smriti Irani, has scrapped about 58,456 “units” or small infrastructure projects that were sanctioned under a centrally sponsored socio-economic development scheme.
