Delhi Police has arrested Davinder Singh alias Bunty from Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur.

Deputy director of the UP Fire Department, Ajay Kumar told ANI, "Efforts are still being made to extinguish the fire, for which hydraulic fire tenders are being taken from Lucknow along with army vehicles and fire tenders have also been sought from the surrounding districts of the city". 

Though the Kanpur district police initially claimed that the women set themselves on fire, the case has now taken a completely different turn with the family calling it a murder.

According to Kanpur police, the prime accused, Rizwan Mohammad and his family had been spending at least Rs 2 lakhs every month despite the fact that he has no source of regular income

The Police seized fake identity cards including passports and Aadhaar cards from the arrested individuals and also recovered foreign currency from them.
