Kerala Police has registered an FIR against Union Minister Suresh Gopi for allegedly misusing an ambulance by traveling on it to reach the Thrissur Pooram venue.

Earlier, Kerala Police registered rape cases against actor Siddique and director Ranjith following complaints of sexual misconduct.

The FIR was registered under the Indian Penal Code by the Kerala Police as the incident reportedly happened in 2009.

Vijayan submitted a false report accusing Rasheeda and Hasan of violating the Official Secrets Act since her custody was coming to an end. Following this, an espionage case was filed, which was later moved to a Special Investigation Team (SIT). The SIT then arrested four ISRO scientists, including Nambi Narayanan.

As per reports, Ashiq (30), works as a toilet operator in Thenmala Dam.

The Kerala police have filed chargesheets in only 162 cases while it closed 205 cases claiming lack of progress in the probe.

Kerala police added that a 24-hour cyber patrol has also been launched in the state to detect all kinds of cyber crimes.

Kerala police resorted to lathi-charge on members of the 'Fraternity Movement' who had taken to the streets opposing the implementation of the CAA.

"The activists of the SKSSF will come forward to chop off the hands of anyone who tries to give a blow or cause difficulties to the eminent scholars and ustads of the Samastha," he had said.
