A source close to Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh said, "Separate administration, in whatever form the Kukis are demanding is not acceptable to the government or the rest of the population in the state."
Manipur police personnel are seen in the video accusing Assam Rifles of interfering with their operation while chasing the armed miscreants. In the footage, an Assam Rifles officer is heard claiming that he is merely performing his job.
