When BJP and Shivsena entered into an alliance forming the state government, it ideated a Rs 1680-crore water project for the city. However, political differences between the parties derailed the project.
The junior Thackeray defended his statement saying that the MVA government in Maharashtra has been able to reduce stamp duty and premiums only because of this nexus.
