‘Mann Ki Baat’ will not be broadcast for the next three months in the view of upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the PM said on Sunday.

PM Modi, in his Mann Ki Baat, celebrated India's unity and achievements, emphasising the essence of 'Dev se Desh' and 'Ram se Rashtra.'

PM Modi during his 'Mann ki Baat' asserted that today every corner of India is brimming with self-confidence, imbibed with the spirit of a developed India.

PM Modi called upon people to put their songs and poems on Ram Mandir on social media along with hashtag 'Shri Ram Bhajan.'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced launch of Mera Yuva Bharat initiative and urged people to promote 'vocal for local' during festivals.

PM Modi further lauded the polyglot singer CassMae and noted that she has aced singing in many Indian languages, including Sanskrit, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Assamese, Bengali, Marathi, and Urdu. CassMae has mastered her notes in all of them. 

On Sunday, 27th August 2023, PM Modi addressed the nation in the 104th episode of his monthly 'Mann Ki Baat'.

The Prime Minister stressed the significance of water conservation and tree plantation in the monsoon season. He talked about how over 60,000 Amrit Sarovars built during Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav are “radiating their glow.” 

In his book Collective Spirit, Concrete Action: Mann Ki Baat and Its Influence on India, former Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi Shekhar Vempati chronicles how PM Modi used his Mann Ki Baat programme to connect with the citizens.

PM Narendra Modi, during his monthly radio broadcast said that emergency was a dark era in the country's history.
