Minor rape

The minor girl was rescued by childline officials who helped her to lodge a complaint on November 23 at the All Women Police Station in Tiruvannamalai.

The accused has been arrested and an FIR was lodged on the complaint of the family members.

The minor victim had approached the police at an advanced stage of her pregnancy and also sought the panchayat’s intervention.

The two absconders were charged under POCSO Act for raping minors

One of the youths took out his mobile phone and began recording the entire incident while one of the accused sexually harassed the girl by removing dupatta and asked her to undress.

The 7-year-old girl had held a plumber-Madhusudan accused of sexually assaulting her in school in 2012
