7th September 2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the infamous day when Pakistan constitutionally relegated the Ahmadiyya community as a non-Muslim minority.
After humiliating, manhandling, and threatening them, the mob forced them to resign by signing blank papers. Notably, on 31st August, the student wing of Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Oikya Parishad – Bangladesh Chhatra Oikya Parishad revealed that at least 49 teachers belonging to minority communities were forced to resign across the country after the fall of the Sheikh Hasina-led government.
Pakistan has been notorious for the blasphemy killings, especially against Hindu and Christian minorities who are often targeted under trumped-up charges.
The Hindus are demanding a reversal of the decision taken by the VMC and saying that the family belonging to the minority community shall be given residence in the minority community area and not in the Hindu-populated building.
This comes in the wake of Rahul Gandhi repeatedly making false statements to insinuate that OBCs are being deprived of economic opportunities and were not made part of Pran Pratishtha by the Modi govt
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against unnamed officials, nodal officers, and PSU bank staffers for a scam in minority scholarships worth Rs 144 crores. The complaint has been registered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
