I had to leave him there and take shelter in a tent. After an hour, policemen came and took him to a hospital but he was declared dead,” Mahesh told IE.
The video was posted a day before the violence in which Ahsan stated that the Hindus should not be spared at all. "This Monu Manesar is coming to Mewat. He should be killed. Why are Mewatis so scared? These Hindus should be beaten and taught a lesson," Ahsan could be heard saying.
In essence, Monu Manesar was merely an excuse to unleash violence. The real problem was that thousands of Hindus had dared to enter a "Muslim area", as the Islamists call it, and therefore, their mere existence was a trigger that justifies the Muslim mob going on a rampage against Hindu devotees and their religious places.
The Police also informed that FIRs are being registered in the matter and that strict action against the stone pelters will be taken. Tensions erupted in several parts of Haryana after stones were pelted at the Jalabhishek Yatra in the Muslim-majority region of Nuh, Mewat.
The video is related to the protests that emerged after the death of a person named Shekul Khan, a resident of Mewat. He died in police custody in a case related to cyber fraud.
The visuals of the incident emerged online wherein it is seen that the large mob hurls stones at the police while officers try to bring the situation under control by using tear gas shells. An additional police force was deployed and a lathi charge was done to control the violent mob.
The incident transpired on Sunday evening in Iroisemba, while the child was being taken to a hospital by his mother and a relative in Imphal after sustaining a bullet wound in his head during a shoot-out.
