A Muslim couple Hina and Mustafa ran a religious conversion racket under the guise of sewing-embroidery centre, pushing unsuspecting non-Muslims to embrace Islam.
A First Information Report (FIR) was registered against the unidentified accused under sections 126 (2), 74 and 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Another nurse Mehnaaz and a ward boy Junaid, who also worked at the hospital, helped Shahnawaz to execute the heinous crime. The trio has been arrested.

They also alleged that Rakshanda used to keep Hindu girls in groups with Muslim boys at the academy situated on Kanth Road. The duo said that Rakshanda Khan was originally a Hindu, however, converted to Islam before marrying a Muslim man named Shahnawaz Khan 17 years ago.
The hospital's staff told the officials that Dr Salma Nasir runs the hospital. The health department team also found an illegal pathology lab being run in the hospital.
