Gangster Mukhtar Ansari was already sentenced to life in prison by the special MP-MLA court in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi.

The Allahabad HC had convicted Ansari saying his image was that of a dreaded criminal and mafia don, who had more than 60 cases of heinous crimes registered against him.
