This comes after Priyank Kanungo, chairman of the National Child Rights Protection Commission (NCPCR) raided a children's home named Asha Kiran Institute. During the raid, it was found that the Hindu children were forced to offer Christian religious prayers, read Bible and visit Church.
The NCPCR stated that during the investigation, the students confirmed that they were forced to follow Islamic religious practices and wear hijab at the school. Further, the school was using a wrong geographical map of India.
