Speaking in favour of the Citizenship Amendment Act, PM Modi also cited Jawaharlal Nehru, saying "Pandit Nehru himself was in favour of protecting minorities in Pakistan, I want to ask Congress, was Pandit Nehru communal? Did he want a Hindu Rashtra?" 

"Students need to have a word with their professors or elders before getting involved in these protests otherwise, political leaders will try to use them for their own benefit", said Rajinikanth.

The PM’s announcement comes four days before the three-month deadline fixed by the Supreme Court to set-up the trust.

The Prime Minister is expected to lay the foundation stone of both the Ram Temple and Ram Statue projects in Ayodhya on Ram Navami on April 2, 2020, and the construction is expected to start soon after.
