The Enforcement Directorate (ED) in its supplementary chargesheet has finally established a direct connection between the Gandhi son-in-law Robert Vadra, CC Thampi and arms dealer Sanjay Bhandari.
Sanjay Bhandari has claimed that the French company owes over 92 crores to him for a defence transaction signed in India a decade ago, during the UPA regime.
The probe which began in July 2017 after the government had ordered a probe into the Pilatus deal. The CBI had begun an investigation into the Rs. 2900 crore Pilatus deal which allegedly involved an absconding arm dealer, Sanjay Bhandari, close to both Rahul Gandhi and Robert Vadra.
The report further adds that the ED has established a money-trail of kickbacks which were received from the Pilatus and Samsung deal signed during UPA era.
