The Delhi HC has granted journalist Rajat Sharma protection over his personality rights, directing the removal of content created through artificial intelligence (AI) and deepfake technology
Incidentally, while Sharma is lamenting the death of four mobsters, the father of one of the deceased wants to shoot the policeman who allegedly shot his son, even as the police have confirmed that they only used rubber bullets and the mobsters was not injured in police firing but by bullet from illegal guns.
Moreover, the court also directed Ragini Nayak, Jairam Ramesh and Pawan Khera not to post the video clip in question or post anything about the IndiaTV debate held on 4th June featuring Rajat Sharma, until a final decision by the court.
Congress leaders Ragini Nayak, Jairam Ramesh, and Pawan Khera, were asked to remove posts accusing journalist Rajat Sharma of abusing and using foul language against Nayak on live television.
OpIndia's analysis showed that it is evident that there is a small gap when Rajat Sharma was speaking in a low voice. Furthermore, which might look like abusive word to some people, in reality he was saying "Kya baat karein, chhodo", which means "what to say, leave it".
On Monday (10th June), Congress spokesperson Ragini Nayak took to X (formerly Twitter) to allege that Rajat Sharma had verbally abused her on air during a live debate.
Gautam Gambhir was one of the government-nominated directors on the DDCA Apex Council when Rajat Sharma won the elections and ruled Delhi cricket for that short while.
