The entire idea is about dehumanisation of political adversaries. Once adversaries have been sufficiently dehumanised, all manners of crimes against them are justifiable.
The accused include Harpal Singh Thapar, the director of the NGO and his wife Pushpa Rani Tirkey, the chairperson of East Singhbhum district CWC, the warden, her son and a staff member Tony Singh.
