Raju Shetti, founder of the Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana and activist Medha Patkar had reportedly met Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray and demanded that the MVA government should pass a resolution against the three farm laws to express solidarity with the agitating farmers.
In January this year, Sharad Pawar had posted a series of tweets criticising the farm laws and alleging that they would adversely affect the MSP and the country's Mandi system.
