The Bangladesh Army Chief assured that all those who were involved in crimes over the past few days will not be spared and legal action would be taken against them.
Speaking to OpIndia, Dipan Mitra, the Secretary General of the World Hindu Federation (WHF) – Bangladesh Chapter said that the situation of Hindus is getting worse day by day. Giving a rough estimate, Mitra told us that more than 4 Hindu people Haradhan Roy, Kajal Roy, Mrinal Kanti Chatterjee and one unidentified have been killed, 51 Hindu temples vandalised and around 240 Hindu houses have been attacked.
Pakistan-linked Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) Bangladesh has been running havoc on the streets after the violent ouster of Sheikh Hasina and terrorising minority communities, particularly, Hindus.
Calling out the violence by radical Islamists against Hindus in Bangladesh, AJA CEO Robert Gregory said that such incidents show the threat and danger posed by radical Islam all over the world.
