Sharad Pawar has taken a U-turn from his earlier statement where he said that Ajit Pawar continues to be a NCP leader.

NCP national president Sharad Pawar said that his nephew Ajit Pawar is still their party leader.

Sharad Pawar said, "PC Chacko, Jayant Patil, Supriya Sule, Fauzia Khan, and many of the members of the committee were not informed when Ajit Pawar faction held the meeting on June 30, no notice was issued for that meeting."
