The Wire withdrew its Tek Fog reports from public viewing after it was discovered the stories written on Meta that involved same team as Tek Fog, had fabricated documents and evidence
The Wire's Devesh Kumar, Ayushman Kaul and Siddharth Varadarajan had spoken to their readers and answered their questions on 'Tek Fog', a super secret app they 'investigated which does not exist.
After being slapped with defamation suit for its Tek Fog and Meta frauds, The Wire issued an apology note, painting themselves as victim of 'deception by their writer'.
The Wire's 'apology' is more of an exercise of getting patted on back for 'owning up' on lapses instead of apologising to those it falsely accused and targeted over fabricated evidence.
