The petition was filed by against demolitions of illegal structures by National Federation of Indian Women Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh governments.
The claim that the Hindu sages had been eve-teasing the women in Ayodhya was false. Ayodhya Police confirmed in a separate video that there was a fight between two groups as a result of which the ruckus happened on the road, the video of which was erroneously shared on social media.
Hardoi Police addressed the issue on Monday, 21st October, and confirmed that Danish had been hiding in a vacant building close to his school and had hurt his hand by striking a blade. Later he claimed to his family that he had been abducted by Hindu leaders who forced him to chant 'Jai Shri Ram'.
On Sunday, 20th October, when the police and Hindu activists arrived at Bijju’s rented house, they found women and children sitting on the ground while Bijju and his wife were seated on chairs and inciting them against Hinduism. “Love the one who loves you. Today is Karva Chauth but the family does not love you, God does, so take refuge in God,” Bijju was heard saying.
Vinod Mishra, an eyewitness to this attack, said that the Muslim mob attacked Hindu devotees after being incited from the mosque. The Bahraich police had termed his claim on social media as 'misleading'.
