An eyewitness of the incident told OpIndia that Faheem Qureshi died of his own bullet during the violence in Haldwani.

The effort to apprehend the rioters has commenced. The rioters are being identified with the help of CCTV. Drones are monitored in the areas. Heavy police force has been deployed to manage the crisis.

Bombs were made by pouring gasoline into glass and plastic bottles and magazine was also seized from police personnel.

 Deepanshu saw 100-150 female officials running wearing helmets to save their lives. He added that many of them suffered injuries. Some of them were taken to the hospital. Deepanshu stated that he offered water to the injured and took them to the hospital.

Searches are underway in Haldwani to nab at least six youths who allegedly made petrol bombs used during the violence.
