The anti-Hindu organisation HfHR, which has a history of siding with anti-India elements and terrorist organisations, was miffed since these Hindu institutions had participated in organising the Diwali festival at London's Trafalgar Square on October 27.
After the national anthem was performed during the prayer, some students raised patriotic slogans like "Bharat Mata Ki Jai". However, principal Edmund Masacrenhas became enraged upon hearing these slogans.
The incident unfolded in the Madhai region of the Ranjhi area of Jabalpur. The Hindu rights organisations alleged that the mosque question was built over land allotted for a Hindu temple. Amidst the protests by VHP and Bajrang Dal, the road connecting the mosque was closed and the area surrounding was cordoned off by the police.
