The Police lodged an FIR based on a farmer’s complaint after an old video went viral in which Manorama Khedkar, mother of trainee IAS officer Puja Khedkar was seen pointing a pistol at farmers.
The job interview advertisement clearly stated that the jobs are for individuals between 3-10 years of experience. The men waiting for the interview were not 'educated but unemployed' as claimed by Congress and many other handles.
The supporters of Abhishek Singh alias Babu, a henchman of Mukhtar Ansari gang who is out on bail, took out a convoy that started right outside the jail gate.
"This woman is for ₹150 and that woman is for ₹200. This woman here is available for ₹500 and this woman for ₹300," he was heard saying while pointing his fingers at the female tourists.
After the video went viral, the Ranchi police registered a case and launched a manhunt for Amanullah and Hakim Khan, identified as the primary accused in the case.
Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh Police has issued a statement on the matter and said that the image of HP Police and the local people is being tarnished without ascertaining facts. The police said that Himachal Pradesh is a peaceful state and the local people welcome tourists. They added that the police are disciplined and public-friendly.
