The water storage level in the state stood at 11.84 %, as opposed to 23.73% last year. The Central Water Commission has issued an advisory to the Maharashtra government stating that water storage is the lowest in reservoirs here in a decade.

This technology can be used to treat textile contaminated water which is a major problem in western Rajasthan.
