Uncle of the girl revealed that the protesting wrestlers have been making a strategy to trap the Wrestling Federation of India chief in the false legal case. The wrestlers in the complaint against Singh have mentioned that the girl was minor when she was sexually abused and have charged Singh under POCSO Act.

India’s ace wrestlers including Sakshi Malik, Vinesh Phogat, and Bajrang Punia have levelled allegations of sexual harassment of female wrestlers against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh said, "Ask the wrestlers other than these few wrestlers. Ask them what have I done for Indian Wrestling in the last 11 years."

The second round of protests by wrestlers in Delhi's Jantar Mantar began about almost two weeks ago, and Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat has been in the spotlight ever since.

Amidst the ongoing protests by wrestlers at Jantar Mantar, a video of Vinesh Phogat claiming supremacy of the Khap Panchayat over other institutions is going viral on social media.

The bench comprising Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Justice PS Narsimsha and Justice JB Pardiwala stated that the plea had been filed by the wrestlers seeking registration of an FIR against Singh. It noted that the purpose of the plea had been served with Delhi Police registering an FIR in the case.

According to Delhi Police, a confrontation between AAP MLA Somnath Bharti and his followers and law enforcement officials occurred when they attempted to remove the folding beds from their vehicles in a 'aggressive' manner.

"The government had made two committees but they cannot punish anyone. Only the court can do that," Yogeshwar Dutt said.

Congress scion Priyanka Gandhi was seen interacting with professional wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Sakshi Malik.
